First Red's Game

The boys went to their First Red's game on Friday, August 12th.

Since they were born at Good Sam, they were part of the Rookie class this year.  We got to participate in a parade on the field before the game (we walked all along the warning track, clear around the ballpark).  Definitely a different perspective of the ballpark when you are ON the field.

The boys also received little T-shirts that say "Future All-stars", and Reds baseball hats!  Very adorable.

The Brocki's (Barb, Pat, and Jamie) as well as Aaron joined us for the game. I hope everyone had as much fun as we did.

After the parade, we got the boys some hotdogs and ice cream before settling into our seats to watch the game.  The boys did really well for being completely off their game.  We had to take Jackson out a few times and let him walk around, and we used a sucker and popcorn to keep him occupied.  Lincoln was quite content sitting on Jamie's lap for most of the game.  We stayed for the whole game, but had to skip the fireworks (bummer).  However, it was 11:30 before we got the boys home and in bed even with skipping the fireworks.

Here is a pic of the boys ready to head to the game!
