The boys are total sponges.
They are picking up on everything around them, and soaking it all in. Mostly good, but unfortunately, they have picked up on a few bad words that mommy and daddy say!
A few weeks ago, we worked with the boys on a few little "learning" things.
They now know:
- Cows make milk (if you ask them what a cow makes, they will tell you - Cows make milk!)
- Bunnies eat carrots
We are working on Monkies eat bananas, but that got a little sidetracked this week.
They are working on learning their colors at daycare this week, and Lincoln brought two little plastic monkeys to his teacher the other day and said "brown". He was so excited. So, instead of "What do monkeys eat", we now ask "What color is a monkey", and he says "brown". He gets so excited!
Pawpaw I think was a bit surprised this past weekend when each of the boys counted to 10 for him!
In addition to counting, they are able to sing most of the A-B-C song too!
It's amazing how much little ones learn, and how quickly!
Now that spring is here, they love looking at all the flowers blooming, and the trees budding. I think we'll need to spend a lot of time outdoors this spring/summer!
