As I was making dinner last night, the boys were playing and being unusally good (vs. begging to be held as they miss their mom and dad while they are at daycare). Jackson was moving the pumpkins around the floor and putting them in the window seat. Lincoln was sitting on a chair in the kitchen, looking like such a big boy, flipping through a magazine that had come in the mail.
Brian chuckled as he was REALLY into the magazine. Then, we realized it was a magazine for party supplies, so Brian joked that Lincoln was going to pick out a theme for their birthday party.
A little while later, Lincoln was very passionately saying "TRACTOR! TRACTOR!". Yes, he had found his birthday theme - John Deere tractors. How could a mom resist her almost 2 year old?
The only question remaining...do I buy the tractor cake pan, or try to sculpt one myself????
