Days of the week

Early last week, we started talking about the days of the week. To my surprise, Jackson started singing the days of the week...in order.

Sunday Monday. Tuesday Wednesday. Thursday Friday. Saturday. (Kind of to the tune of Oh My Darling Clementine...but not quite)

Daycare has taught them a cute little song, so they now know there are 7 days in a week...and then the order. I believe they also know how to sign the 7 days of the week...but I haven't quite picked that up yet. Guess I need to find another sign language book!

The story before the story of the Two New Little Harts

Brian and I met in February of 2002, when Brian began working at NFO/TNS. Our first date on July 5, 2002 included Hawaiian pizza from Marcos, playing pool, catching a movie (Spiderman), and talking for hours. In November of 2003, I moved to Cincinnati for a career change, and we spent the next 8 months apart - talking on the phone, and driving up and down I-75 on the weekends. In August of 2004, Brian moved to Cincinnati.

In April of 2005, after only a few short months in our two bedroom apartment together, we bought our first house. The next year was spent painting, buying new furniture, and making our house a home.

In May of 2007, Brian and I spent an amazing week in San Francisco and Napa Valley, and our trip concluded with a proposal! After much deliberation, a date and location were established, and on November 1, 2008 I became a Hart.

We discovered our family would be expanding on June 5, 2009, but on June 18, we discovered we were doubly blessed, when we heard the beating of The Two New Little Harts for the very first time.
